And these are MU's "glory years".

Incorrect.

Mizzou has had a decent run for the last 7 years or so, but hardly their best.

Mizzou's "glory years" were the 1960's when they were routinely competing for spots in national title games. They appeared in 3 Orange Bowls and 1 Sugar Bowl in the span of a decade, going 2-2. (As a side note, Kansas also appeared in the Orange Bowl in 1968, the year before Mizzou's 3rd appearance in that game in that decade)

Historically, they are only similar, not identical, in terms of overall record. What KU fan fails to mention is that Mizzou has appeared in 30 bowl games over that time span, while Kansas has appeared in 12. I would hardly call that "identical".

But, then again, I'm sure you already knew all that . . . .

I realize I could put em both on ignore and be done with it, but where's the fun in that?

I mean, this is a discussion board for us to come onto and bullshit and to get away from the monotony of the day, correct? It's something to do.

May as well call people out on their bullshit, while distracting myself for a while. Kills two birds with one stone, you might say.
