About Justin Houston..
Does anyone else think he has been playing pretty lazily early in games this year? Perhaps it has been a scheme thing, perhaps today he was still feeling some illness.. but I typically watch him on 75+% of the snaps and its like he is waiting until the 4th quarter to 'flip the switch'. He shuts down the run for 4 quarters, I am referring only to his pass rush.

He either gets dropped into coverage, or he will rush and give up on it if he doesn't win immediately. Then, the 4th quarter hits and we see the dominant, relentless Justin Houston that he used to be on every down.

Hopefully its just some sort of schematic thing going on. I'm glad he is still having a huge impact nonetheless with 4 sacks thus far, but I can't help but wonder if he is holding back effort. Lets hope that changes because the defense is damn good when he is rolling...

No, I am not mad for being called out on an opinion by an idiot.

If I'm drafting pass rushers, as much as I like DT and Tamba, I'm drafting Houston, because he is a beast as a rusher, and a beast against the run, and far more versatile than either.

And the fact that you think that Alex Smith had been anything more than a mediocre QB who was carried by this team, and the 9ers the two years under Harbaugh, prove that you are a ****ing idiot.

It also eliminates any credibility you have in regards to any discussion about QBs.

Overreaction of the century.

Dude's got 5.5 sacks through 6 games. He's our only defensive blue chipper left besides Peters.

The Steelers had to have averaged over 6 YPC. That's going to stall your pass rush 10/10.
