Obviously, these things are out-weighed by the WOW-plays he makes. Coming home on a pop up, stealing 2nd and 3rd in a blink, and as you said, just making defenses nervous. That's part of the reason I wish he'd clean up some of his issues. He could be 10x better.
I imagine most of the fastest players in the league slide off the bag time to time when stealing. It comes with the territory. But it's not like he gets caught a lot. He got caught 3 times last year out of 29 attempts. Billy Hamilton was caught 8 out of 65 attempts. Dee Gordon was caught 20! out of 78 attempts.

It's not an issue even if I was a coach I'd worry about. It's not like Terrence Gore where he looks like he's going to get injured every time he slides.
