Seriously though, if you're in the KC market keep your ears out for that Power Lift commercial. It's like a foundation repair company or something, they got legit lyrics and even get after it a bit with some emotion.

I know someone who has shot local commercials for years and years. You'd be surprised by watching some of these commercials to learn that a lot of the time he does what the clients ASK him to do.

You also, depending on the market, have a limited number of production companies.

Here in the Des Moines market, you'll find that commercials for local businesses almost all sound and look exactly alike. Even their corny jingles all sound eerily similar.

It's because they were all produced by the same production company.
