Really happy for Jason Vargas, who's about as nice a guy as there is in baseball.
He looks as sharp as he ever did. Really great command and moving the ball in and out, up and down. Would love to see KC get a little run going. Lot of teams with big aspirations (Indians, Blue Jays among them) off to rough starts, so you aren't buried. Yet. If Vargas continues to pitch well, though, he does become someone you can get some value back for if you end up selling in July. Not getting a ton for him as a primary piece, but as i mentioned in the repo... he's someone you could add as a second piece with a Hosmer or Cain or Moustakas to enhance your return.
