I honestly can't remember the last time there was substantive football talk on this board. It was before Pioli. I don't know if it's ever happened in more than 5-10 post exchanges, and even that might be stretching it.

This is a site to find out news about the Chiefs, and it's the best football discussion site related to the Chiefs, but that doesn't mean that there is actual meaningful football discussion here.

I disagree. Well, technically none of it matters, but that's not why I disagree.

I think it's interesting to track the players from their college careers to their pro projections to the systems they fit into in the NFL and how well they do. My interest expands beyond simply which players the Chiefs get and are they good. I'm a fan of the sport as a whole, with an emphasis on the Chiefs. Not just a fan of the Chiefs.

That's all fine and dandy. But this is a CHIEFS forum, where the majority of the posters only care about options for their ball club.

This isn't a draft specific forum, and you know this. You're right, the majority of the posters don't give two ****s about prospects that aren't potential Chiefs selections. And why should they? Why would people wanna discuss (on a chiefs forum) prospects that will go to other teams and eventually get cut? There is no need. You and maybe a small handful of people might care.

If you want to talk about Chiefs prospects....well....we've done it to death. If you wanna talk about prospects in general....obviously that audience is a lot slimmer, and has never really existed here to begin with.

Define meaningful discussion. I keep hearing this rhetoric and im kinda surprised that you'd take this stance, considering you've actively participated in a lot of these discussions (not at the volume you use to).

I'm a long time and well known backer of Go Chiefs. That being said he does push the envelope.

As far as AC, its his sandbox.

You know as well as I do that this is the most hands off let them play Chiefs site on the internet. You can't find more freedom anywhere else.
