Just watched the first episode. I think it's going to be very interesting.

My DVR cut off the last 10 minutes of last ep... what happened? Travolta was getting ready to leave for Hawaii. Next recording isn't until next Tuesday, and you can't fast forward through the on demand recording.

Directv. Most things that show commercials won't fast forward for on demand.

Comes back, walks into his office and finds that all of the OJ files are missing. Secretary tells him there's a meeting at Johnnie Cochran's place and hands him a photocopy of the front page of a newspaper saying he's been replaced as lead attorney.

He shows up at Johnnie's and is wondering what's going on as he walks into a meeting with all of the attorneys. He asks what's going on and they tell him OJ is on the phone and wants to tell him something. OJ stumbles around and finally says that he thinks Johnnie should give the opening statement at the trial. Basically saying Johnnie is the lead now without actually saying it.

At the end, we see them walk into the courtroom to begin the trial. OJ's team, and Johnnie in particular, are taken aback when they see Darden sitting there for the prosecution.

Well, the cut gives you the blood in his Bronco, and I believe that he originally said that he cut it in Chicago, IIRC.

Plus, they had DNA on his socks, on his glove, in his car, and carpet fibers from his Bronco at the scene. One of his gloves was at the scene.

It was literally as open and shut as you could get, but because DNA was such a novel technology and the prosecution didn't present it well, the jury supposedly didn't buy it.

IMO...this is EXACTLY it.
I said the same thing last night while we were watching in response to my wife saying can you believe even with DNA he got off.
it was all new....not rock solid YOU'RE SO GUILTY like it is now.

so about the theory that OJ's son did it. I read he was obsessed with Nichole. like...did he want to bang her or something?

I think the entire Bronco fiasco and what OJ was found with completely destroys the theories of it being anyone else but him...

Not to mention the fact that OJ's blood was found at Nicole's place, and OJ, Nicole, and Ron's blood were all found at OJ's place (or in his Bronco). The only way to get around that is to actually believe that the LAPD would actually frame OJ Simpson, simply because he was black.

it places him at the scene, but technically doesn't prove he committed murder.

Every time OJ speaks about the case, his comment is along the lines of
"That will prove I couldn't have done it" He never says the word innocent.

Le Batard spoke about being able to see an advanced copy of a five hour 30 for 30 that will air in June about all the impacts of the OJ trial and said it was the best thing ESPN had ever produced in any capacity (any show, any doc, anything).

He quickly relayed a story told by one of the SWAT members who got OJ out of the car in his driveway.

After getting out of the Bronco, the first thing that OJ said to the SWAT member was, "How did all these ****ers get into Brentwood?"
