Go with ASUS, MSi, or Gigabyte. I prefer ASUS as well.

Budget? Intel or AMD? Wifi?
Much info needed, very little provided. I usually filter my motherboard selections down to ASUS or Gigabyte, but if you are tight on money MSI or ASRock. |

No wi-fi, Intel, 100 dollar range. Looks like ASUS is the preferred in this post.

Here is the gigantic list of micro ATX motherboards to choose from on Intel's new Coffee Lake platform.
https://pcpartpicker.com/products/mo...ard/#c=128&f=7 That list will be longer soon because the only platform to be released so far is the top end z370. The rest arent coming til Q1 2018. Personally, depending on the age of your case, I would upgrade it along with the build just to get an updated front panel i/o. You can get a decent case with all you really need for like $50. |

Boon,
Why are you building something? are you trying to use old parts? I mean, really, what are you going to do with it, what specs are you looking at, what's the total budget? I have not built much recently but when I did I had an objective in mind.
