Brady is obnoxious as hell, but I don't see what the point is in trying to convince yourself he's anything but one of the best to ever play the game. It's not really even a debate at this point.

You're not going to win a Super Bowl with a bad defense no matter how good the QB is. You need a serviceable defense at least. However, the better the QB, the less important your quality of defense becomes.

For real, though, Brady is the goat simply based on postseason success and almost constant regular season victory. It's impossible to argue he's not. That said, there are a bunch of QBs I'd rather build a team around.

Please. Brady won championships in this league 16 years ago, and he's doing it again now. Show me a QB that can win titles in every era, and you won't find it. People can be in denial, but Tom is the greatest to ever play the game and every argument you can try to make besides era is stacked against you. And Tom can't help the year he was born in, this is his league, we're just participating in it.

And with that analogy that means no QB will ever surpass Montana because they didn't participate in the real defense era.
