Again, for the sake of the kids, they should probably just forfeit the game. If these kids are the only thing this program can attract, and recruiting is only going to get harder as they continue to get worse, then perhaps it's time for MIZZOU to look at different programs to put those precious scholarship dollars into in these Title-9 days.

Perhaps a world class lacrosse team would be helpful?

Not that you all care about MA anymore, but the love fest in Arkansas is coming to an end. People starting to grumble quit a bit after that humiliating defeat at Clemson yesterday.

I was cool with the ISU loss, but that shit yesterday was an abortion. We are up by four with less than a minute to play. Then have three turnovers in last minute to let them tie the game. They didn't even have to foul us and have us miss free throws. Our PG play is that shitty.

Yeah, I noticed that.

Kind of expected this from the moment it happened. It was becoming pretty clear by the end of Anderson's time in Columbia that the pressure basketball system was no longer the advantage it was in the 90s (TV timeouts, everyone being used to playing that style, etc) and that he and his staff did not work hard enough on the recruiting trail to out-talent people with it.

Guess Anton Beard hasn't been the answer yet? He's obviously only like 9-10 games into his career, but I saw a lot of Hogvillians expecting him to be the guy that made it go from Day 1...

Not the answer yet, but I'd prefer him in the game at the end over Madden. Some are saying he's a more traditional PG that needs to run set, half-court offenses so may never really fit in MA's system.

I know his stock dropped a lot over the course of his last 18 months of HS. went from being a potential top 50 player as an early commit to Mizzou (and MVP for his age group at the CP3 camp) to being a top 150 3-star.

Still think he'll be a solid college player, just not a superstar/instant savior like some expected.

Hell, Phil Pressey was much more highly regarded and still wasn't a superstar in Year 1 under Anderson.
