Off Season Lets Talk Guns

Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.

Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon?

Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware?

$499 is a good price.

I use a Versa Carry since it it small and easy to conceal. I am fit with little pudge so it was hard to find a good holster.

I didn't get any upgrades since it is pretty much perfect for me as is.

My father gave me an extended mag, which would be nice for the range or if you are going to use it for home defense.

Here is a Versa Carry for .45ACP

Local dealer offered one yesterday for $499. Was not in the budget, but seriously considering "pulling the trigger" on this.

What about one of these, the accuracy of an AR... with the reliability and stopping power of an AK.

Many have tried to merge a 7.62x39 with the AR and failed.

Had a nice "handgun only" range trip today.

from L to R:

Glock G19
Springfield EMP 1911 9mm
S&W 686 .357 4" barrel

Even though I was only shooting .38 Special through the revolver, I couldn't believe how accurate it was. I was hitting the 10 ring at 30 ft and 50 ft. And the strange this was that I shot it better in double action than in single action.

I don't know if this is the right thread for this, but I'm going to post it anyway. Or perhaps I should start a thread to talk about things like gun control, conceal carry, etc.

This has been around a few years but I still enjoy watching it.

I have never understood why people think criminals will obey the law and not get a gun then not use it to commit a crime
