That's the place. I just remember seeing the rainbow flag. I never ate at Marty's even though I lived in the area for quite a while. My wife likes BBQ more than I do (sacrilege, I know), and she always wanted to go to Smokehouse on North Oak. My favorite Chinese place was on the corner of Vivion and Chouteau (North Bowl).
