Geno Smith vs Alex Smith - It's on.

It's on now. Geno Smith is probably going to be starting for the Jets this season.

Alex Smith will be the Chiefs QB for the forseeable future. If he's a success, we'll probably get five good years out of him.

So who's gonna win more NFL games over that time period?

Put your ten pounders on the table and make a vote

Alex: 11 wins
Geno: 8 wins

What about 7-8 for 68 yards with the only incompletion being a wise throw away?

No, he's fine. X-Rays were negative.

Geno did better than I expected for his first pro game. Well done, young man.

It was nice of the Chiefs to help that little old lady across the street with their yards after catch.

! I haven't seen a Chiefs QB manage an offense that EFFICIENTLY since Trent Green. This is the perfect offense for him. I'd say you got a pretty good deal. But, of course, we'll see how long it is until he's injured.

Once again Chiefs talent evaluators show they know more about D&D than football. Nice call Geno ballwashers. Alex Smith = legit. Geno = bust.

A bust for Geno after less than a quarter of play.

Alex Smith legit after one series of play.

Check back 3-4 years.

I don't think it will take 4 years for Geno to be out of the league. I'll check back when I rent a car from him at Enterprise.

He sure the hell has a lot to prove. I agree he could bust hard in the NFL but I think there is also a good chance that he will be successful not to be a bust. It is entertaining to watch him and not worry one way or the other. If he bust then I wont give two shits because we didn't take him. If he is successful then I will be pissed we didn't take him. I'd rather be wrong about being right that he will have success.

Anyone trying to argue Geno>Alex after this first preseason game, is going to say Geno>Alex all season long, regardless of results.
