Is the XBOX 1 X worth getting with crappy internet?

As it says, is the XBOX 1 X worth getting if your internet is very hit and miss? I posted in the lounge about Hughes net, but since it would be no good for gaming, it will do me no good. So, my question is, is there any games worth getting that you can play without active good internet, everything I am reading is telling me to take my XBOX 1 X back and return it.

I wouldn't get an XBox anything at this point, they shot themselves in the foot by allowing their content to cross to PC now with Play Anywhere. Just get a PC instead. If you want to get it for the 4k native blu ray player, then I couldn't fault you, as a 4k blu ray player alone costs about that much anyways.

I don't care so much about that, but the dude at Best Buy was telling me you have to have fast active internet to even play like COD and Halo 2. I have internet, but man its slow. I just don't know if its worth keeping for a small section of games.

Not all of the titles are XB anywhere. The list is rather small, with a lot of the newer titles not there.

Forza, Gears of War are two of their biggest titles and they're on there. Halo Wars 2 is as well which means the next Halo game will likely be as well. When all your best exclusives are able to be played on PC, why get the system? I'm just saying they limited their sales window even more. They just don't have the titles to justify the purchase where as Nintendo has titles like Mario, Zelda, Metroid, and Sony has Uncharted, Last of Us, MLB the Show, etc.

For the online shooter games like Halo, isn't it more about latency than speed?

A PC equivalent to the Xbox One X is roughly twice the price. And that's without a good mouse and keyboard.

It would be nice to play PUBG at 4k/60fps in the family room with a controller.
