Yep. I liked the restaurant, by opinions varied on the place. You could get there just by elevator in the hotel. Used to be that way, anyway.

Yes, the Improv. That place is a shitload of fun. Big names come through, too. That would be worth the drive up north, for sure. Leave there, go to Bar Louie for drinks up on the roof.

This thread is useable for me. I flew home from Omaha Monday, changing through St. Louis, sitting next to a gal from KC. I asked what to do there, because I hope visit it someday. She said nothing but they made a big deal about their BBQ. So I said what about the fountains I heard they had?
She gave no answer.
