2nd player, Jordan Willis, played at Rockhurst High School and of course K-State. At 6’5”, 258, could he play OLB in the Tamba Hali role for the Chiefs?
Again your thoughts on Jordan would be appreciated. |

3rd player, Fish Smithson KU sure looked good in some the KU games from this year. He had 253 tackles and 6 interceptions for his career.

Charles Harris Lincoln Prep 6'3", 244. This year had 61 tackles, 9 sacks, 12 tackles for loss.
KC Star reported that the Chiefs had a formal interview with him at the combine. Any insight on Charles. |

I've watched Jordan in several games from this year and thought he might have a hard time adjusting to playing OLB. In the one-on-one drills at the Senior Bowl practices he looked pretty good because he had no contain responsibilities and could just rush full speed, so he might be able to adjust better than I originally thought.
CBSSports.com in their draft profiles suggested he might be a better OLB than a DE. |

He didn't appreciate being asked to play a more disciplined role at Mizzou this year in a new defense, and his performance suffered. He'll be at his best in a scheme that focuses on just letting him attack straight up field and not worry about anything else. If you're trying to use him like Justin Houston, where he's a more versatile guy who also is great against the run and solid against the pass, you'll be disappointed. If he's primarily a pass-rushing weapon, you'll be pleased.

Jordan Willis has an embarrassing amount of athleticism.
I've said this before, but NFL teams care about nothing at the Combine as much as they care about the three-cone for DL. Willis ****ing shredded it. A 3-4 team will take a chance on him, and if it wasn't such an insane year for edge rushers, he'd go on the 2nd day. I'm bullish on Harris. I think he's just a very strong, solid passrusher. I saw him live this year at Vanderbilt and I pretty much only watched him. He racked up a sack and played well. That's also the game I really started to hate Vanderbilt's Zach Cunningham. He's a fine player, but Mizzou moved the ball at will. |

Dylan Cole from Missouri State, as mentioned had a good pro day. He's a really good kid, my wife coached basketball at his high school while he was in school.
She was actually the strength and conditioning coach therr one summer and I went and worked out with them some when I had time. He's a great great kid. I'd like to see the Chiefs take him or get him in kc somehow. Last edited by O.city; 03-24-2017 at 09:56 AM.. |
