Phone Medic repair vs Asurion/total mobile coverage
My phone recently dropped with the charger attached. Now the USB charging port on the phone let's the USB plug in but you have to fiddle with it to charge. So the connection something must've broken inside. I don't want to use my Verizon coverage to replace my custom phone with a refurb and the rest of the phone works great. Would phone medic be able to replace the charging port for a decent price? Asurion quote for my phone is $150 and I'm betting they don't repair and send my phone back but instead send a refurb.

Asurion most definitely does not send your phone back
A repair place can probably fix it, but the cost may be high. My wife's old iphone quit vibrating, iGuru wanted $129. I ordered the part on ebay for $2.10 and spent $5 on the special tool and fixed it in 15 minutes.
