Didn't see anybody starting this thread so I guess I will.

Anti climatic season starts tonight and my prediction is GS vs Boston in the NBA Finals.




First 2 Games tonight on TNT with Philly vs Boston and OKC vs GS. Westbrook is out tonight so that game will be a blowout most likely.

I thought it was a good decision to fire Casey then and I still think so. Nurse has been more willing and quicker to adjust when necessary than Casey would have ever been.

And this season was all about Kawhi. Still have no idea how Masai convinced the Spurs to take on Demar's contract for one of the best players in the league (the Raptors traded more away for a half season of Gasol). If they get one more win, you have to consider it one of the best trades in the NBA history.

They are reporting that Durant "practiced" today for the first time (it's unclear what he did and for how long) and he is being listed as questionable for the first time too. It'd be pretty dramatic if he came back tomorrow night, but I'd still be surprised.

I wouldn't be surprised at all. It's the finals. They are going to do everything they can go get him out there. How effective he will be is another story.

Healthy Kawhi in the first 2 rounds was insane. He’s definitely struggling physically out there.

I would be. He literally hasn’t practiced in a month and he’s going to step right in to that kind of intensity? It’s a lot to ask.

They certainly could use another scoring option even at less than 100 percent so we’ll see.

Starting to feel like a must win for Toronto tonight.

If they lose, the series goes back to Golden State. Warriors then just have to win a home game to force a Game 7.

After that, the pressure builds for Toronto. They don’t want to be the team to blow a 3-1 lead. I’m sure Golden State would love to do that to someone.
