I'm ****ing sick of it. I can't do anything to change what he did. I also don't want to think about DB Everytime he makes a great plH. But some people insist on bringing it up every single game. I don't ****ing get it. What is that supposed to do? What's the purpose of it?

It happened. It was despicable. In a perfect world he wouldn't be on the team. But he is on the team and he's playing great. He's also owned up to it and according to the people around him, he doesn't make any excuses about it and he has changed his life

So why do fans need to hear about what he did every ****ing game? We can't enjoy having a play maker? It's like we're getting punished for what he did.

What exactly is supposed to be accomplished by bringing it up every week? What are we as fans supposed to do about it? Bringing it up does nothing other than dampen people's spirits. It doesn't change what he did and it won't make Dorsey cut him. So what's being accomplished here?

You seem quite shook about it. Why exactly are you shook up about it?

I mean it's like if you want to like and cheer him, just like and cheer him. Embrace the fact that he's slimy as hell. Just stop with the mental gymnastics, trying to justify what he did was a'okay.

Who's saying what he did was okay? What the hell?

You can cheer on a player on the field without liking them or liking what they did.

His girlfriend has forgiven him

He has paid his debt in the eyes of the law

According to Dorsey and Reid he is in counseling and has taken other steps to better himself

With all of that being true, my conscience is perfectly clear when I cheer for him on sundays

I havent seen one person justify what he did was considered to be "ok" by anyones standards.

Have you? If so, Id love to see the post if you could qoute it and post it here..

I have however, seen people talk about how he was justifiably convicted, paid for this crime, received plenty of bad publicity, obtained victims forgiveness, has taken the needed steps for someone in his position to take...

To ME, It seems you have this opinion that Tyreek hill is a POS that can NEVER come back from what he did. THAT IS FINE. Everyone has their opinion, you have yours... But I dont think you coming in here baiting everyone that is looking for the good in someone, and wants to highlights all of the GOOD things hes done in his life since that incident, is the way to go about it. You are stuck on one incident, and even if he saved 100 children from a fire, and donated all his $ to charitys for domestic abuse, you would still dislike him. Thats fine, However, as ive just said, others believe that 2nd chances and reforming your life is real. Drug addicts do it all the time. Alcoholics do it all the time. I think your just mad he did a terrible crime, but is now reaping benefits from the NFL for being a good football player. Which is fine, but what your doing is just lame imo and bad taste all around.

lmbo you couldn't be more wrong

If he actually really truly felt remorseful and gave his money and time to help women and kids of domestic abuse, yeah I think people would be more willing to forgive him. He seems to be doing just enough to satisfy his punishment and didn't seem very remorseful during his interview, right after being drafted.

I ain't even mad, but that's rich

This is a league where fans beat the **** out of eachother for wearing a different color and owners, league officials will try to sweep Domestic Violence under the rug as much as possible (Josh Brown).

As long as he does what the court orders him to and stays out of trouble, he should be allowed to continue to make a living. But, you can't be salty when people seem upset over it or question it. It's quite justifiable.

The Chiefs did the opposite of what the NFL was aiming for with a big PR push, so getting shocked and angry when media pays attention to it is the silliest thing.

It's just a game, filled with shitty people. Do whatever the **** you want really.

Amen.

Yes there are a handful of others in this thread who feel just like Busby and don't see themselves as sinners in need of Jesus's grace. Apparently in their own eyes Jesus loves them more than Tyreek because they haven't hit a pregnant woman.

Bottom line: We are all flawed sinful human beings in need of Jesus's grace, everyone of us.
