It's not even a diatribe worthy of attention, members of CP on the short bus have penned more artful diatribes. It hits only the most facile of angles, and does so with such glancing, scattered blows, that any old tomato can could fend them off.
It's like Carlin, if Carlin were really REALLY high and you asked him to rant about something he'd never thought about before in his life.

I pointed it out graphically before, but his score was step for step identical to the one that Messi scored in stoppage time that the world was agog about the day before, only Jones was going left to right and Messi went right to left.

If Michael Jackson had treated his chronic insomnia with a tape of Argentina vs. Brazil instead of Propofol, he'd still be alive, although bored. To downright mean If more "Americans" are watching soccer today, it's only because of the demographic switch effected by Teddy Kennedy's 1965 immigration law. I promise you: No American whose great-grandfather was born here is watching soccer. One can only hope that, in addition to learning English, these new Americans will drop their soccer fetish with ti

As we close in on the knockout round of 16, I thought I'd post the latest ELO rankings.
The 1st number is the world ranking out of all countries, the second is the ranking if the World Cup was seeded 1 - 32. They go in order of matchups except for projected spots based on tomorrow's results. 1 / 1 Brazil 9 / 9 Chile 8 / 8 Columbia 9 / 9 Uruguay 12 / 12 France 30 / 24 Nigeria 3 / 3 Germany 15 / 15 Russia -OR- 53 / 31 Algeria - Other side of the bracket - 5 / 5 Netherlands 16 / 16 Mexico 32 / 25 Costa Rica 20 / 19 Greece 4 / 4 Argentina 16 / 16 Switzerland 14 / 14 Belgium 13 / 13 USA ... Less than 11 hours to go... .

World Cup - Boateng, Muntari sent home, suspended 'indefinitely' by Ghana
Ghana have sent stars Sulley Muntari and Kevin-Prince Boateng home from the World Cup just hours before a key game. Ghana are due to play Portugal tonight in a game they must win to have a chance of reaching the last 16 of the World Cup but their preparations have been thrown into chaos. Muntari, who plays for AC Milan, and Boateng, who represents Schalke, have both been dismissed by coach Kwesi Appiah for disciplinary reasons and have been suspended "indefinitely" by the country. Muntari is alleged to have slapped Ghana management committee member Moses Armah Parker. A statement from the Ghanaian FA read: "The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has suspended Sulley Ali Muntari indefinitely from the Black Stars with immediate effect. "The decision was taken in the wake of his unprovoked physical attack on an Executive Committee member of the GFA and a management member of the Black Stars, Mr. Moses Armah on Tuesday 24th June, 2014 during a meeting. "Muntari’s accreditation for the 2014 World Cup has been withdrawn with immediate effect." Boateng is alleged to have insulted coach Appiah during a training session. The Ghanaian FA said: "The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has approved coach Kwesi Appiah’s decision to suspend Kevin-Prince Boateng indefinitely from the Black Stars. The decision takes immediate effect. "The decision was taken following Boateng’s vulgar verbal insults targeted at coach Kwesi Appiah during the team’s training session in Maceio this week. "Boateng has since showed no remorse for his actions which has resulted in the decision. Boateng’s accreditation for the 2014 World Cup has been withdrawn with immediate effect." The former Tottenham and Portsmouth midfielder told Sportbild: "Yes, I am leaving. I am no longer part of the team." |
