Terrible QBing on both sides, winning team scores no offensive touchdowns until garbage time, ugly football all the way around. Hard to think of a less entertaining SB.

Was this the worst played game of any super bowl you've seen?

CP usually bitches that games have too much offense, that QBs dominate, etc.
So there's a SB where the Def dominates, resulting in less offensive fireworks, and people bitch that it is a boring shit game.
I'm starting to think people will just bitch about anything no matter what.

Yeah..rigged or not...it had about as much excitement as lunch at Applebees. Sterile football game that no one will remember. Everytime Denver is in the Superbowl is sucks....you would think the would rig games away from them.

How did the NFL screw up so badly in its fix? Can't they fix a game so it's at least as good as Dinner at Chili's?

They really had no choice. The only way to get Manning to retire was to give him a Super Bowl, and if he's going to win a Super Bowl then you have to make the other team score less than 17 points. The NFL pretty much had no choice but to make this a boring game.

They were 1 for 14 on third down.

They were the same ...pretty much all season...rigged. If Manning's not at QB...it doesn't happen. "Branding"...which is an interesting term....has to do with permanently scarring cattle with a hot iron. What corporate branding scars you have on your ass...NorthFace? Nike? Monsanto? ImASoulessDrone?

They cant control that he is 39 and shouldn't be playing...they CAN control penalties on important plays....for and against. He has NAME recognition..that's all they want. It's some some fake cluster**** of corporate branding and sponsorship revenue. Never had anything to do with being athletic....its why this SB was anemic from the kickoff.

But they can only call penalties to help the defense and not the offense? This is very confusing.
