Just such an incredibly lazy and boring take. Our offense sucks ass because the players have sucked ass and the coaches can't coach them out of this funk and the discipline amongst everyone is lacking and Mahomes is playing slightly below what we're used to and our receivers are clueless and our line has turned into a bunch of OBJ's and so on and so forth.

You are only as good as your weakest link, and the Chiefs have a pretty HUGE weak link at the WR position that effects the rest of the team.

I relate this to being in a band and your guitar player is royally ****ing up his job. Yes, the rest of the band can still play, but it's going to sound like shit and eventually the music will get so distracting the drummer will slip time, and then the vocals will get pitchy, because everyone is so focused on how bad it is. Lack of confidence spreads and it turns into a dumpsterfire set.

I agree with this, however....

Travis now has upgraded his crib so that Tay Tay can stay here in in KC. That is good. But who do they hang out with when they are in town? Teammates. And I get that too. I not saying its a distraction, but it has to add something.

Frankly when the game started yesterday I was like shit, would be better if we were the road team. Would just be way easier to be focused.

All that said, as fun as the AFC West Invitational has been at Arrowhead for the past five years, I'd enjoy nothing more than Mahomes and Kelce wrecking the super bowl hopes of other teams as they go on the road and destroy people. Our defense will travel. We have developed a true #1 WR in my book. If we don't beat ourselves, we got a real chance.

Time to go put a futures bet on the Chiefs.

This has always been the case this season. It's remarkable how unable the Chiefs have been at stopping the stupidity. Week after week, they find ways to lose...even when they win they look like shit. We've never seen this with a Mahomes led team before. At this point, I see no evidence that a miracle turnaround will happen. There's just too many flaws to fix. It is what it is. I too hope they can, but I really have no belief that they will. We've seen too much this year to believe otherwise.
