I still maintain that weight divisions are stupid. Why do we care if a 148 lbs man is good at boxing? He's still 148 lbs. Who gives a shit. There is some guy named Hank working at a Target somewhere, who boxes for fun on the side, 220 lbs and would beat the shit out of Mayweather. So stupid.

Let's make an NBA with guys who are sub 6'0''.
An NFL full of guys who can't run sub 4.7 40 yard dashes.
An MLB for pitchers who throw under 80 mph.
It's just not fair.

Why would you compare a team sport to an individual sport? This is such a dumb post.

OK, I've locked in what the thread will look like and I'm just waiting to post. I think the boxing fans here will be happy with what I'm gonna put up, I know that the MMA fighter is gonna get clowned.

I think Oscar De La Hoya went on record saying he didn't think McGreggor would land a single punch.

Basically, you only care about heavyweights and want the entire world to be limited to your preferences. It's not OK for you to simply chose to only watch heavyweights, you want that to be the only choice for everyone.

Got it.

Why do we care that someone can throw a ball to someone 40 yards down the field?

Why do we care that a guy can shoot a basketball through a hoop better than someone else?

Why do we care that someone can hit a ball with a stick/racket/club really hard?

It's called sport, dumb ass.

It may be a scam and it may be ridiculous - but it's interesting - considering Conor was on the Irish version of welfare just a few years ago - he's already won. That said; the fight will go as long as PBF wants it to.

Why have distances for races?
Why have different strokes in swimming?
Why put a three-point line in basketball?
Why have different clubs in golf?

BeauWillie007 is one of the dumbest "smart" people on planet Earth.

I can't believe that people are buying into this nonsense but then again, I can.

This is like a heavyweight "tough man" versus Ali, Frazier, Foreman or Holyfield.

If McGregor lasts beyond one round it'll be because of the Vegas odds and if (doh!) Mayweather loses, the next fight will worth $150+ plus and Mayweather will destroy him inside 2 rounds.

I'm sad that boxing has come to this.

This isn't even boxing at this point - it's just feeding PPV & the millennials & hype (of course.)
