It's a fighter who is trying to make a gargantuan leap into much more difficult, rules oriented arena...

Don't get me wrong, Connor is a great fighter, but he will be technically destroyed by Floyd...

It's not a knock on your guy, it's just basic knowledge, mma fighters don't have the training time to compete with fighters that only focus on one specific aspect of fighting

Well, Floyd has been fighting world-class fighters since about 1998. He's lost to none of them, he's been rocked by one of them, and he's been seriously pushed only once or twice. A McGregor bettor is asking a guy that has never boxed professionally to do something that world-class boxers have failed to do for 20 years.

It really is an asinine proposition.

To add to your point, this won't even be a fight against a master opponent who has focused on one specific aspect of fighting his entire life. This will be a fight against Floyd ****ing Mayweather. Floyd Mayweather who LITERALLY toyed with Canelo Alvarez, a freak destroying machine in his own right.

This is a fight against a top 5 greatest boxer of ALL TIME. People literally have no idea how gargantuan the gap is between Floyd and Conor. It's as big as the Grand Canyon. I still can't believe this massacre was even sanctioned.

Anyway, we are entering the Lomachenko era anyway. Boxing will never be the same.
