Unreal Estate Game: Maryland

Maryland has lots of places named after royal people, but that's an issue for another day. Here are your five homes.

My rankings:

Centreville - At first I thought this place would be too far out in the sticks, and admittedly I'd rather be near more stuff, but it's really, really cool to be next door to a library, and you can still walk easily to some other useful things like a sports bar. And the house? Wow. How can you not like that house. It's got a great look and very well done finishes. Bravo, Centreville, bravo.

Annapolis - This house reminds me a lot of my house. It was built the same year and the front part of the first floor is very similar and it's almost exactly the same size. I like my house, so I like this one. And it's in an awesome location, near the really nice downtown part of Annapolis. I passed through the area a couple of years ago and was at a hotel not far away from this house, and it was a really nice area. I could easily live here. No parks nearby, though, so I like my house better.

Baltimore - Really interesting location very close to Fort McHenry, so if the Americans hold out you can see a really cool fireworks show. I'm not really into the unit with the bare concrete, but the location is really nice in terms of access. Lots of walkable stuff, though still no parks nearby. I could live here.

Tilghman - I'm a huge fan of this house. What's that style? California Ranch? Love it. There are three restaurants not far away, but for the most part this house is really remote. It's a cool remote, though. Nonetheless, it bothers me that it's called an island when it's clearly not an island.

Westminster - Great old house, and I like that at least part of it dates from 1795. Some of it looks like a modern addition, but it's nice. The location's not terrible, but is clearly a disadvantage compared to some of the other places in this heat.

That is indeed a nice looking place. I bet you can learn to serpentine pretty quickly to avoid any bullets.

I went with Centerville. Great house located in the center of a "Ville", (french word of Latin origin meaning "city" or "town").

Centerville for me but the Baltimore place was close. May have gone with that one if it wasn't an apartment.
