I would consider paying for a fight of this profile, but given that it might last about 1 minute, I think I'll just walk down to the bar and duck in for a drink.

We've scheduled our Fantasy Football draft for that night, so each guy will chip in like $8 each for it. Worth it at that price.

McGregor started training as a teenager and switched to MMA as a teenager. Even with the time he spends on striking in his camps, he has put in a fraction of the time that other boxers have to perfecting their craft.
I agree, but some people are just more talented than others. More importantly, some are more driven than others. People aren't as equal as we pretend.

Lomachenko challenged Conor to spar, and Conor should accept. Pauli was old, washed up, and retired. He needs to see what it's like against a freaking ELITE talent like Vasyl. It's an incredible opportunity.

I freaking LOVE watching that guy fight. Did you see his fight this weekend? The footwork man. Geezus.

See, now you're just speculating things and asserting them as fact. Conor was a boxer until MMA became a thing. HIs coaches told him he had to full time box, or full time MMA because he started splitting time between gyms. They wouldn't let him keep doing the MMA training. He probably saw a faster success train in MMA given how long it often takes boxers to reach championship level and the relative infancy of the sport of MMA. It worked out. He was the biggest draw in MMA history at 27.

That's not equivalent to years put in training a specific craft for Jones, and neither would is it for McGregor.
I only brought that up because you compared him to CM Punk, and yes... Jon Jones would do better with 2 years of boxing training than CM punk did with 2 years of MMA training.

It's not just about athletic ability. It's about knowing how to train, knowing how to cut weight, knowing how to push yourself, and knowing how to surround yourself with good teachers. Not to mention that Jones has straight up FREAKISH athletic ability.

Just admit it was silly to compare him to a pro wrestler who didn't even learn freestyle wrestling or even catch wrestling! Christ, CM punk was a backyard wrestler! He wasn't Sakuraba or Ken Shamrock.

I don't think I mentioned Conor's lack of cuts or bruises. I only mentioned Pauli's cuts and his swollen eye. That's because they simply wouldn't exist if Pauli dominated him with 16 ounce gloves and headgear. Feel me?

Again, and I repeat this, we're 100% in agreement about how this fight will go.

I don't think either guy has the punching power to end it that fast.

I bet you get at least 3 rounds.

I'm only here because it gets people talking about fighting. I'm actually not very interested in debating how it goes. We all know how it's going to go.

I'm picking Floyd TKO between 6 and 8. Once conor fatigues, Floyd hits the gas and overwhelms him.

The matrix is a very fitting nickname.

Yeah, he's incredible.

I haven't enjoyed watching a fighter that much since Roy Jones Jr. was a middle/supermiddle weight.

I was disappointed in the last mayweather ppv I rented. He pointed the other guy to death and the ran around. Hopefully this time they have to go toe to toe a bit more. Floyd has the point you to death strategy down pat

You think that shows his gameplan?

Dude, just stop. It's like 20 seconds of footage.

As I said earlier, it just shows that Pauli didn't 'manhandle' Conor like he claimed. Paulie looks out of shape as hell though.

huh.... so Paulie just straight-up lied then. (either that or he's got a bad memory) That wasn't a pushdown.

Conor is still going to get wrecked.

Why the hate? Floyd is a silver spoon entitled kid who beats women in front of his own kids.

What has Conor done other than be hilarious?
