Tame? Wishing for families to get cancer over a baseball game is hateful. Wishing for anyone to get cancer is horrible for any reason. Maybe violent criminals but that's it. Why can't they just cuss and and tell other fans to "**** Off" or something like normal people.

Rude assholes over there.

Accusing KC of cheating is a pretty nice compliment, actually.

And you have to at every team saying "they don't strike out? They haven't seen US yet!"

Being from the Midwest, I am a third generation dirt farmer - like most of the rest of you here. With the winter season approaching I will spend the next few weeks counting my meth reserves and stealing insulation to tack up in my trailer. The wife and I have been surviving on generic milk bones dipped in fancy feast. Chips and dip if you will. Yes, times are tough for us here in KC. Nobody saw the bottom of the dirt market falling out like it did, and I know many of you have resorted to boiling the family cat to stave off starvation. I do however get over the air channels on my antenna.

And I must say; this butt-****ing that the Royals are putting on this second tier NY baseball team from the JV league is thrilling. I've achieved and maintained an erection lasting longer than four hours both of these games. Thank you Royals - for slaughtering these flowing hair closeted homosexuals these first two games. We have to face Snyderspretzels next and I expect more of this most vicious raping. I suggest a scalping on the mound after our victory.

Fun fact I just learned about the Mets. They are actually from the same city as the Yankees. I guess I never thought much about it, but I always figured they were from a different New York...like how the Redskins are from one Washington and the Seahawks are from a different Washington.

The football teams aren't from the same city, though. They play in a completely different state (New Jersey).

Anyway, it seems kind of weird to have the Mets when they already had a perfectly good franchise in the Yankees. What do you guys think? Should we get another baseball team in Kansas City? It sounds kinda fun, but I would probably still cheer for the Royals.

I never saw that post - I'm curious what CP degenerate went there Would have called that weak shit out had I seen it.

A lot of similarities given the 29 years of suffering for both franchises. The "been a Royals fan for 2 years" is a tired narrative, but understandable given an outsiders perspective. Ive attended so many games of bad baseball and watched these guys lose so much over the years while coming back for more you'd think I was a masochist, but that's what's made the last few years that much sweeter.

We should organize a joint game day thread for tomorrow's game - someone pm Bob Dole to set up the specifics.
