Solid work by the big fatties there. Bailey crashes in and takes 2 blockers (one of whom starts off by trying to double Poe) which, along with Berry coming in to lock up the RB, frees the blitzer to come in behind. Poe takes his man 8 yards into the backfield and ends up cutting off the QB's escape route. Poe got ridden a bit wide there, but his push seems to show that he was heading to that general area from the beginning.

Everyone is wondering if the Cardinals are really that bad....and while they may not be very good, they didn't look this bad against the Saints in the Hall of Fame game. Just sayin.

JFC, I am watching the game again and I am tearing up.

This team is just raping the hell out of Arizona. On Hillis's long run a LB made a decent attempt at a tackle and it didn't even slow him down.

On the 4th down QB keeper our line blasted Zona. Cassel is actually hitting his receivers in stride.

This team looks so much better it's scary.

Pioli then replaced Vrabel and looked to replace Cassel. Although he hasn't be aggressive enough in replacing Cassel, but still.

2. right 53 to fix the culture of losing. people can talk shit and make fun all they want but it's the right thing to do. You bring in character even at the expense of some talent to make sure the locker room is professional and productive.

3. build through the draft. outside of the initial preparation shortened '09 draft, we have gotten good talent. Pioli has also steadily been more aggressive about getting talent and potential. Lessening up on the 'right 53' as the locker room improved.

4. screwed up by hiring Haley ... fixed it. I just wish he was of fixed it before we lost Weis. Hopefully DeBoll is good enough.

5. talent and depth with zero cap concerns. Pioli has built a solid and sustainable organization. Hopefully as soon as we get our franchise QB we will have legitimate Super Bowl contending type team each year.

what more could you possibly want?
This. Now all he needs is a REAL QB...

Best QB - Cassel
Worst QB - Stanzi

It was one game, and next week could be different, but the depth chart held true for this one.

Glad we played well. Still just a preseason game - the first, no less - so the best part is...

no major injuries (save, Copper - any word?).
