I have eaten there twice in the last few months-in different states. And the results were the same.

Poor service-workers did not seem to want to be there or care to keep the places clean.

Food was cold, expensive, and dry.

I am not sure how they stay in business-will not eat there again. A cold Frisco burger and old soggy fries served by a bitch with an attitude-gets you a Fail and Never Return.

Thanks! At least I didn't get the shits-so Hardees gets a plus for that.

I was out of town and it was the only option available or I would have passed. I paid the check for my whole family so it was a nice $50.00 bill to get some of the worst food I have eaten.

Easiest way to ensure fresh food is to make special requests. Order the sandwich minus ketchup or pickles or something. Order fries no salt.

This is not completely true. Most fast food places use timed heating tray tubs to keep the meat warm for a certain amount of time, and make the sandwiches as ordered anyways. So, ordering a sandwich with special topping requests will do you no good. They'll still be pulling the meat from the same tub and putting it on your special ordered sandwich.

The only way to ensure you get fresh meat is to order it without seasoning. Then they have to cook a fresh unseasoned patty.

And I think McDonald's is the only one that uses those bins...

they know whats up, just tell them you want fresh fries. Unless it's rush hour they will be happy to oblige.

I worked at a fast food place in high school, we never did that, we'd make fresh fries. However the "no salt" requests were usually made by a-hole customers and it meant we had to clean the entire fry station, so we'd take our sweet time making them.

I usually apologize because I'm a pain. Not trying to be an a-hole customer, but with my kidneys, if I eat fast food (not regularly), I need low salt. So I'll order my burger without seasoning and fries without salt.

That said, I've never seen them clean out the fry station. They usually package the fries straight from the fry basket.
