Normal game has 12/13 possessions. Chiefs got 7 extra and offense only managed 10 points? That's awful
https://twitter.com/huthutdk/status/781058110542778368

This guy is a ****ing moron. The Chiefs had 9 offensive possessions.

Also, most of the turnovers came when the Chiefs already had a comfortable lead, and were running the clock out. Two of the turnovers were returned for TD's. Should've had 7 more on the board if it weren't for that fluky fumble out the endzone.

Was it a great, or even good offensive perfomance? No, but it wasn't nearly as bad as this biased pillowbitergot wants to pretend. I bet he didn't shit on any of the Broncos wins last year because of their inept offense, especially one they won by 20 ****ing points.

I'm aware of that. I was just letting the Broncos fans know where he's at right now. I didn't need you to do the math for me. I've already said, when Houston come back, he'll get more opportunities back at the ROLB position.

He had 4 sacks in 6 starts last year. I don't see how 8 was a ridiculous prediction.

Well, 3 came in one start right?

So flip side is he had 1 sack in the 5 other starts?

I prefaced that prediction with "if Houston comes back healthy", so if he does, yes.

Unfortunately, our best player is an unknown at this point, so it's impossible for me to make any official prediction without bringing him up.

Look at the Texans today for example.

Yea, if you want to take out stats to fit your argument. You could do this with every pass rusher. They all beat up on shit OT's, and get sacks in bunches at times.

Well, a 5 game sample size is bigger than 1, no?

Schlereth was extremely critical of the Broncos O-Line last year. Because they played like shit. They did manage to limp through and get carried by a ridiculously good Defense (and I mean we're talking historically good here) along with spit, bailing wire, duct tape, and PFM's sheer force of will.

It is, but it was also the first 6 starts of his career, at a position where real playing time is essential for development.

Why when a great/established OLB demolishes a bad OT we credit it, but when a young guy (who according to everybody else is no better than the guy across from him) does it we don't count it at all? It was the best game of his short career, of course if you dismiss it it's going to make him look worse. My question is why dismiss it? It happened, did it not?

When you're using it to extrapolate out to a season, it makes the prediction more difficult.

Skews the average. I'm not dismissing he did it, but that it's possible that it was an outlier.

I understand what you're saying, but a lot of pass rushers get their sacks in bunches. Would you really be shocked if he has another game like that again?

I do. I have no reason not too. This team historically has started off slow with Reid. They're already looking better than last year and will only get better.

He couldn't decide between 6 picks or a pick 6, so he did both.

That's part of predicting though. Not seeing things coming is part of it, not an asterisk.
