I think McDaniels is about a net 0. He came up with some good concepts to get Hill and Waddle singled up and he did basic shit like NOT shit all over his QB, but man he pulled some intergallactially stupid shit in some big games.

This is a great assessment. Also, the Media acted like this guy was the next Andy Reid the first few months of the season. Now you never really hear shit about him, for obvious reasons.

Destroying Tua because you don’t recognize concussion symptoms multiple times could also be feeding into this. Also the Dolphins haven’t been relevant since Marino so canning a first year HC makes sense.

With the emphasis the NFL has put on concussions over the past few years, that’s something you can’t afford in to get wrong even once, much less twice in the same season.
