They haven't witnessed an inept combination of GM/HC in a long time...so they just assume everything will work out.

That roster has issues at almost every level... their 2 primary WRs are getting old and arent grooming anyone to replace them. If they get hurt...that offense will implode. Peko is 33...

Horseface had been relying on top-tier FAs to mask his draft failures...but those types arent considering Denver anymore.

They just pushed Miller's money to the next few seasons...he'll be making $25 million in 2018/2019. Yikes...that is how much Drew Brees is making.

No doubt Hunt is a very solid back especially for Reid’s system and imho speaks to my point about being able to find solid backs after R1. I think a more accurate time to evaluate whether he, or any back, is worth a high round pick will be after 2 more seasons of high productivity without significant time missed due to injury.

History has shown that line of thinking to be extremely accurate no matter how much you wish it were otherwise.
Then again, Vance Joseph.

History. Interesting choice of words since you guys all continue to ignore Elway’s draft history when you come to these conclusions.

But just as I thought, “we can’t suck for years because we never have”. Your entire fan base is so ridiculously enititled that you think that means anything about right now.

Forgive us. We’re not as practiced as y’all are in “because referees” or “because NFL” or “because Vegas” or “because Chiefs.”

You know, I have played football (pop warner) as a kid. Played in High School and a year in College. Followed the Chiefs for as long as I could remember.

Question: "What the hell was it that made the Drunk believe that Joseph could EVER be an NFL Coach"?

I mean, Gary Kubiak made sense. Shanahan made sense. Most of the other coaches made sense. But Joseph!?!?

And I'm not being confrontational here, I'm really not. I'm just trying to understand the "methodology" of hiring this clown.

Elway. He hired him along with letting the roster go to shit.

It all starts with him.

You’re right. We know what it looks like, which is why there isn’t a Chiefs fan on this board that is scared of the Broncos going forward. You’re signing shit HC’s, QB retreads, and there’s no reason to be optimistic about your future.

I remember when you idiots thought posters like me were full of shit when we said Elway of the Manning era was a fluke and he’d be exposed. You still don’t see it, which makes it all the more pathetic.

It’s higher than that. They had a great owner for a long time, now they don’t.

Yea, but Elway was staying for a while after winning a SB regardless of who the owner was.

The longer they stick with Elway, the more the blame should go up though.

The only thing preventing a 5 win or less season is those early home games. 2 cheap wind a year pads things. Even bad Denver teams are unbeatable the first 2 weeks in pile high.

It's called making decisions by Vodka. Also Elway doesn't understand the Rooney rule. He thinks it means you HAVE to hire minority.

30+ years of being a fan, I suppose. As I’ve said previously, they could very well stink for the next several years. I believe they can win 9 this season, won’t be easy, but I don’t think it’s impossible.
