Movies and TV Need advice on cutting cable cost. - Page 27

My last bill from Att was $215...sick of paying that much to watch only a few shows. I dont want to cut the cord from cable entirely. I would like to keep basic cable and internet, but still be able to watch the shows I like on HBO and showtime. I`m already a netflix subscriber, any other suggestions ? Can you buy season passes for most of the shows on HBO and Showtime?

In XBMC/Kodi go to “System” “Appearance” “File lists” and check the option “Show hidden files and directories“.

Use AdbFire to push the zip file to "addons".

Note: Never unzip the zip file you plan to install, as that will break it. Keep it in .zip format. Don't use Safari to download, as Safari tries to unzip zip files automatically.

Next step in Kodi is to go to “System” “Add-ons” “Install from zip file”

So my path in ADBfire looks like this /files/.kodi Do i just change that to addons or put addons at the end of it? Show me what the file should look like, I'm very novice at this.

I hope they keep some episodes out from the pay wall. If not, there are plenty of websites that host Seinfeld without commercials.

ESPN is on SlingTV for what that's worth.

It has always been that way. Hell, Cox users were stuck with ESPN3 only for years. WatchESPN has always been tied to your TV provider. ESPN3 is not.

So i went ahead and cut DTV, have the fusion easy config version of XBMC, am able to find lots of archived stuff, but not a ton of lives tuff. I do have the Navi-X, phenoix, 1channel and other addons.

Is there somewhere i can watch LIVE NBC/ABC/CBS/FOX ? (dont tell me to get an antenna~ I am watching this on PC)
