I wouldn't wanna play anymore if it's gonna be at a level I'm not accustomed to playing. Much respect though. Great career. But father time is undefeated.

Clearly, something happened this year where Peyton just lost all the drive behind his throws. It was pretty evident for about two months.

Yesterday wasn't even a choke ... the guy just had no chance. He had nothing behind any of his throws.

Injury, age, injury because of age, season wear because of age. Regardless of what happened, it might just be time for the dude to hang it up. No shame in that.

I know both of us in the FD thread were wondering why Peyton sucked asshole down the stretch.

I guess I should've trusted my eye more than just figuring "it's Peyton Manning."

I lost hundreds on FD down the stretch targeting Emmanuel every week.

Favre retired and everyone basically forgot about him. No joke.

Football is his life. Sometimes it's hard for guys to hang them up. I bet he gives it one more whirl. Hopefully Denver cuts him loose and he goes back to that dome life!

looks washed up ... you can make every right read but if you can't throw the ball, you can't really play QB in the NFL

I agree with you. It was no choke job. He never had a chance. I knew in the 1st quarter I ****ed up going with Thomas and even Anderson (he was clutch as **** though). I think he'll be back. His contact number is a huge problem though.

For all of this talk though, Manning's numbers this year were virtually IDENTICAL to Andrew Luck.

Manning choking in the playoffs isn't father time's fault... He is who we thought he was.

All pro numbers in the regular season, home field advantage, choke away the big game? Sounds like Peyton in his prime, if you ask me.
