Took my sons (ages 20 and 16) to this show Sunday night. Quite simply, it was perhaps the best concert I've ever seen -- not just the best Rush concert, but the best concert of anyone I've seen in nearly 40 years of concerning. Phenomenal light show, exquisite musicianship, terrific set list, and lots of fun stuff like band videos and the stage crew disassembling the stage during the show, essentially taking it back thru time.

I can't say enough about the light show. It was as good or better than anything Genesis or Pink Floyd have done.

I got my tickets in the mail last week. Can't wait for this one. Last time I saw them was their 30th Anniversary Tour.

Saw them in Austin two weekends ago. Excellent show. The setlist was probably the most wide-ranging of their entire career that they've ever done. Lots of great lasers (as SK mentioned) and visuals.
It's definitely a show for hardcore fans. Can't wait to see them again in July! On a side note, I got into a super nerdy disagreement with a guy sitting in front of me before the show. The house music was a selection of mostly classic prog-rock (as always) and In The Court of the Crimson King came on. My buddy asked me who it was, and I told him it was King Crimson. The guy in front of us turned around and said "No, this Emerson, Lake, and Palmer." I kind of gave him a funny look and said "No, this is definitely King Crimson's In the Court of the Crimson King." He was adamant that it was ELP, then got up with his friend to get beers. When he came back he said "Hey, you were right. That was King Crimson." I felt like such an alpha nerd. |

Can't wait to see them-I got the fan pack. This will be the closest I have ever seen them out of the 20 plus shows. I hope it is not their last. They are Still the best band out there.
