Take away Thursday night football. Owners love it, the fans hate it, the players hate it, the coaches hate it.

Take away that ****ing London game. If you want international presence, handle that shit in the preseason. Given how critical homefield advantage is for teams and a short 16-game schedule, every game matters

Scrap Goodell's stupid ass personal conduct policy and start fresh. Lay down hard & fast rules about clear-cut violations, cut out the ability to negotiate down your punishment, and leave some flexibility to deal with behavior that has more gray area

Stop bowing down to fantasy football and bring football back to purity. Loosen up rules on defensive holding. Make clear rules to limit pick plays. Find some way to stop the ridiculous third and long situations turning into first downs because of a 5-yard illegal contact penalty.

Change overtime rules to what they did in the playoffs last year. Sudden death is such a ****ing stupid idea

Make the extra point harder by moving it back. This was a great idea
I really like your first 6 ideas, all great.

I'd keep round 3 on the second day, because you still find top talent then and I'd want the ratings.

Sudden death isn't new to the NFL.

You'd have to be a raging homo to not like sudden death OT.

You simply don't know what you are talking about. Expansion, London, Thursday nights...many things people complain about today started or expanded with Tag. You really think there were no rules changes during his 15-20 years. He even took political stances--I recall he took away the Super Bowl from Arizona over Martin Luther King Day.

It is common sense that the commissioner acts for the owners, and I guess I'm pretty skeptical that you've studied the tenure of each so closely that you're able to compare the details of who was better or worse.

They can.
They are too strict in my opinion, but there's always people who push the limits and start bringing in props and such, so they naturally try to tamp it down.

Right, because what I said was that Tagliabue didn't implement anything. A good commissioner can balance out satisfying owners with providing leadership to steer owners a different direction when they want something stupid. That's what Tagliabue did. There was definitely not the consistent theme of stupidity that follows most rule changes under Goodell's watch.

And botched implementation has nothing to do with the owners. That's all Goodell.

They did. When they got rid of props. I understand the logic behind getting rid of dunking between the uprights.

The 2013 penalty against going to the ground to celebrate reeks of Goodell. A year after Ochocinco retired. Nobody was even talking about touchdown celebrations.

- Arrowhead renamed to "And the home of the Cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeefs Stadium"
- Raiders awarded a Super Bowl victory in the same fashion that the current system rigs it for other teams
- I fire scumbags on sight
- Hitmen hired to take out anyone who wants to take it "there"
- Chris Berman- janitor
- Cheerleaders can wear whatever they ****ing want, fans can suck it
- Fans can suck it
- No more dumbass flyover bullshit
- Weed served at games just like alcohol, minus the cutoff after quarter 3
- Chiefs win hella games
- Cheerleader draft every June in KC
- Women can play in the league if they want to
- I know nobody is gonna like this, but make it a non-tackling sport. We don't need all these injuries and having to tackle someone takes away from a lot of the best parts of the game. Two hand touch. And that's not because I said women can play. I just feel tackling causes too many problems, whatever gender that is.

- Cracker Jacks are no longer sold at games due to the offensive wording

Isn't it funny to look back and remember that at one short period of time, the Bears were actually "The Bears presented by Bank One"?

-Ditch Thursday night games. They suck and are usually bad football.
-Draft goes back to April.
-Eliminate most celebration penalties.
-Eliminate preseason games in exchange for more practice time.
-Ditch the London game. If you want an international game: Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Calgary, and Edmonton are much closer.
-More offensive penalties get loss of down: chop block, OPI, and block in the back.
-Defensive pass interference is 10 yards. No more spot fouls.
-All reviews will be handled by NFL HQ and not at the stadium.
-Expand the bump zone to 10 yards.
