2015 Predictions For Chris Conley?

Was reading and figured I'd share. Beat writer Terez Paylor says WR Chris Conley has been the biggest standout in rookie camp and headed the list of impressive camp stand outs.

1. "WR Chris Conley: The Chiefs’ third-round pick was the most athletic player on the field all three days. No one could keep up with him. He has the speed and movement skills to create separation and threaten teams vertically. This means little right now, however. Because many a man has killed it during rookie camp and OTAs, only to shrink when the pads come on. But this was a strong start for Conley."

http://www.kansascity.com/sports/spt...e21582834.html

What do you guys expect from Conley? Can he beat out Wilson? If so what kind of numbers will he produce?

When asked if Conley could produce a 4 TD, 500 yard season in 2015 Paylor gave some facts on Andy Reid's history of his best rookie wideout numbers. Which were as follows...

"Reid has only had two rookie wide receivers accomplish this feat. Reggie Brown did it in 2005 (43 catches, 571 yards, four touchdowns) and Jeremy Maclin did it in 2009 (56 catches, 773 yards and four touchdowns). DeSean jackson had enough yards (912) in 2008 but only scored two touchdowns."

Can Conley win the #2 starting job and surpass these numbers? For some reason I feel he can. With Maclin getting the main attention of opposing defenses I'm excited to see what Conley can do.

Thoughts and predictions? I will go out on a limb and say 6 TDs and 650 yards...as I like him as a red zone target. I think the Chiefs will be hard pressed to have a 1000 yd WR because Smith will spread it around but I have faith in Conley being a productive contributor.

Morse is probably better than Fanaika or Fulton at RG. He might not be better than Kush at C. We'll have to wait until training camp to find out.

I figured he was the new center, but apparently he worked out much more at RG during the RMC.

I mean, we all figure he's starting at one of the two, right?

Don't "we all" this shit.

He's a rookie. That's going to be playing a new position.

If he starts anywhere, I'll be shocked.

It means we were definitely worse than we all originally thought, and most thought it (the offensive line) was a pile of shit in the first place.

This guy ain't Zane Beadles or Zach Martin. Not even close.

This team is so ****ing close to doing really good things and the one problem area that is the massive problem area which is still the problem area is the offensive line, and it's like these guys don't even ****ing care.

I mean...****!

"Shit Andy! Someone just took our guy! Who we pick?"

"Nom, nom, nom, nom, nom."

"Oh! Here's my Decision Lens print out! Top of the list - Mitch Morse. Send it in!"

*coughing and choking sounds*

"Shit! That was the fifth round page! Holy ****! What have we done?!"

Several teams loved Morse and multiple teams were going to pick him in the 2nd round, the Broncos apparently being one of them.

It says a lot when the scouting community and offensive line coaches have a hard on for the guy.

I'd still take him over that pussy Jake Fisher 10/10 times.

All signs point to that being the case. There's a reason Mayock moved him into his top 5 interior OL in his final rankings. Nobody knows a guys true value better than Mayock right before the draft.

Seems like most would have been fine with Morse in rd 3. So for me and many I spoke with, after the first 20 or so prospects, there were a large amount of prospects that were day 2 worthy in any wild order.

Folks just being nit-picky like they know better. Folks just like to bitch and moan.

I like Morse...everybody down on that pick but he's a good player with upside and versatility. Even if he doesn't start and the competition brings the best out of Kush and whoever may start over Morse at RG then that's a good thing. My guess however is that he ends up being a starter.

Also for those who didn't like the Morse pick in the 2nd round, who would you have taken there instead and why?

Tyler Lockett or Maxx Williams for me

I think a double TE set with Kelce and Maxx Williams would be strong

Charles
Maclin
Wilson
Kelce
Maxx Williams

double TE's would help our OT's too

I'm not as annoyed about Morse now as i was before since we picked Conley later. Lockett is an explosive player though

Morse better be a starter in the league
