That being said, your doctor is a moron and should have a malpractice suit on his hands for telling you not to cancel your vacation and then not getting you in to see someone for a month after you got back. 11+ weeks could be the difference between catching it early enough and it being too late. Sorry if this post sounds harsh but incompetent doctors infuriate me.

Not that I am defending the doc, but when she was interviewing me, the pains I'd been having were far less severe and less frequent. If they had been the same as maybe 4 or 5 weeks earlier, or as bad as they had been 6 to 8 weeks before, I would not have been comfortable going on the trip. I am a bit miffed she didn't tell me in mid-April that she wouldn't be there in June, as I find it difficult to believe vacation time just popped up out of nowhere. While I was in Denmark, there were many days in a row where I felt no discomfort at all and never passed any blood. P'rolly should have just tried to stay there!

Sounds like a heck of a time. I've never made it to Denmark, but as a kid I did live just south in Germany. I got to visit some pretty cool castles. Being so young at the time, I just don't think I appreciated it as much as I would as an adult. I've always wanted to make it back over there.
