I am very disappointed that the NFL and its hearing office didn't exercise better discretion and judgment in my case.
How about being disappointed in yourself for messing up your life with a series of poor choices? This dumbass just doesn't get it. He does the same stupid shit repeatedly, tries to lawyer up and get out of it, then blames the NFL. I bet he will fail another test before the ban is up. |

First, as a part of the league allowing Josh Gordon to enter the supplemental draft after being kicked out of Baylor, and then Utah, he agreed to enter the league in stage two. Stage two means that if you fail a drug test you are subject to a 4 game suspension, and placed into phase three. When he failed the drug test what is believed to be for Codeine before the start of the 2013 season, he was hit with a 4 game suspension that was reduced to a 2 game suspension, with 4 games paid suspension. that placed him into stage three. Then this past offseason at some point, after passing 70 DRUG TESTS. 70......... He failed a drug test at 15 n/l which is .0150 per NANO LITERS. He tested in sample A sample at 15, and tested in sample b, at 13.9. Now, in the CBA it states that they don't count a failed test if it is deemed to be second hand smoke. The Military, and the OLYMPICS drug testing standard for failing a drug test is 150 n/l..... So, think about HOW small it would of been for Josh Gordon to of failed. Meaning, if you do some research, you will see that had he even taken ONE TOKE off a joint, he would of fired at a minimum in the 60-70 N/L range.. So, please, feel free to continue as if Josh Gordon did this to himself. I live in a small very WHITE very quiet neighborhood. My wife and I came home from dinner the other night, and given how strong the odor was from a neighbor, had I been pissed tested the next morning, I guarantee I would of popped higher than a 15. Which is why they are going to issue an injunction against the NFL because this is a ridiculous policy, one that was INACTED BEFORE Josh Gordon was in the league, and is outdated, and falls far short of even the toughest of standards by other organizations. end rant....... YES, I AM SUPREMELY PISSED OFF. I do blame Josh Gordon for his stupidness in college, but, this is absolutely absurd.

Second hand smoke? And Bill Clinton never inhaled either.
Was that a second hand DWI he got too-with a passenger that had weed on him in the car? Most likely he figured that the thc would be out of his system- but it wasn't. Was that second hand cough syrup too? Blame the player and his long list of poor choices-not the system that is approved by the players agreement they have with the NFL. I am sure we will hear more trouble with this guy being "in the wrong place at the wrong time" or being nabbed for somebody's weed that happened to be in his car. He does not seem to learn- Or take responsibility for his own life. |

The guy needed help, and the DUI was beyond dumb. but, after doing a little research on it, the 15 n/l for a guy that was being tested up to 15 times a month, its not possible that he was smoking. That's all im saying. Could he of been in a car with someone who lit up? Sure, hot boxed it. but even with that, I think the thing most are pissed at is that this was leaked at the draft, and just got resolved now. kind of a kick in the nuts.
