I think Hali retires and comes on as Defensive Spread Game Analyst.

But, yeah, Mays makes sense. I'm betting Dorsey inked Donnie Avery in 2013 expecting to cut him in 2015, which is why his contract was structured to make him a very cheap to cut in 2015. That's what Emmanuel Sanders was supposed to be all about. But Dorsey simply never had a plan B after Emmanuel Sanders ****ed him over. So I think we're stuck keeping Avery into 2015. Hudson's going to walk. The team loves Eric Kush. Bowe's contract is extremely lousy, yeah. It gets even worse in 2014, but he's not cuttable. He becomes cuttable in 2016, and extremely cuttable in 2017. Should we consider it. But that's what happens when you have a team bent over a barrel because they can't successfully figure out what the hell to do at the WR position. It's honestly the same position we're in right now with Alex Smith. |

No, they'll extend him and convert that salary to bonus, keeping a still productive player (11 sacks last year) while reducing his cap number.
Jeez, if people are going to talk salary cap they could at least try to understand it. |

How old will Hali be next year?
The guy loves Kansas City and he loves playing with Justin Houston. It's possible he agrees to a cheap extension. Then again, Atlanta's probably more than willing to pay Hali carte blanche. They aren't afraid of aging passrushers and he has an obvious connection there now. |

He's slightly more valuable than Tyson Jackson was.

He's a good player, and we have no obvious replacements for him. And we've drafted 1 good run stuffer in 15 years. Edit: More like 3. But my point stands. |

In a pass happy league, a one dimensional run stuffer is as useful a can of gas for an electric lawn mower.

We can't cut Avery because of the wr situation but we can cut Sean smith? Seems legit.
