Mahomes injury updates
Minus whale get this one started.

Postgame, Coach Andy Reid confirmed ankle sprain for Mahomes. Don't overlook this injury. By video this is not a standard low ankle sprain. This is a not a standard basketball low inversion sprain with predictable recovery.

By video this was a high ankle sprain. Albeit mild and Mahomes is obviously tough. One needs to wait for to see how much swelling occurs overnight and the next few days.

Will know more in the next few days. Expect some missed practice time and this could slow down the 2018 MVP throughout the month of September.

Again, it's the certainty that doesn't work for me. Do I believe Patrick is likely to play this weekend? Yes. Do I believe that it's already been 100% decided and the team and doctors don't give two shits about how he looks and feels in practice this week? Absolutely not. That doesn't even make sense.

Mahomes runs circles over Russell Wilson. But I can't see mahomes winning this year unless the top of the class completely fizzles out. That being said, Russell finally has a tough schedule coming up. I just think mvp voters were always going to find excuses not to give back to back mvps to a player this young. It was always going to be very tough for mahomes to repeat regardless of how well he played.
