That's what we do now, and it works really well. We also have other short-term transportation that we use like Car2Go and the bus, since we live in the central city.

It's a tough call once it starts getting that old since you can absorb some repairs and still be ahead vs. something newer. Particularly if it has been reliable to that point but aging German cars can get bad.

As a fellow BMW owner I would recommend looking for a X3. I bet you can get one that may have a few more miles, but still not too many more, very close to the price range of a used X1. And if I may ask. What are you looking to get for your little roadster?

See my last post. But I would discount it to a good owner. I love that car and I want it to go to a good home.

Do you have a picture of your current BMW? I have a friend here in KC that buys all sorts of BWMs, especially odd color ones.

I just took this picture today. Other than a bit of a sag in the glove compartment (which is common - design problem) and a handful of very small rock chips and door dings (1/4 the size of a plain M&M), it looks like new. I've owned it for 12 years, and it's at 99,500 miles. It's always been garaged and always had every maintenance done on time.

You probably would. Same height as you and cars like this are surprisingly fine since there is no backseat. A 90s Mustang would be more confining.

How shredded is the paint under the bra? Don't those things cause scratching and discoloration due to the sun not hitting the paint under it?

honestly, I'm not sure. that's the third bra it has had, because they tend to get beat up,but I am not the one who replaces it.
