Buccaneers HC Lovie Smith announced Thursday that they have traded S Kelcie McCray to the Chiefs in return for G Rishaw Johnson, per the Pewter Report.

Johnson, 25, signed with the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent out of California University of Pennsylvania. he was reportedly competing with rookie Zach Fulton for the Chiefs right guard position.

There is no question the Buccaneers could use some extra depth at guard, which appears to be one of their biggest issues on their current roster.

The schedule was soft as cotton. Don't you think the team was a tad blessed last year with the way things fell on the schedule and injuries other teams had. Usually the Chiefs are about the unluckiest team in the league so I'd expect to get back to that this year picking up where we left off in the playoffs with weird shitty things happening.

They were still NFL teams they were going against, and according to many Alex is a backup QB at best. So that means the Chiefs also had a backup QB on the field. He was the backup when he came from SF, am I right?

Right. To their credit they did beat the shit teams which was different from past years.
