1. 2nd place in the division
2. Wild card chase
3. Getting their name back to the Royals

Let it be written that "Robin" has decided the following:

The name of the Kansas City Baseball team shall now be based upon their record:

> .500 = KC Royals
.500 = KC RoYosts
< .500 = KC Yosts

Perhaps now we have something more at stake than just some stupid playoff fantasy????

I don't have too much of a problem with the lineup or Aoki being the DH.
Valencia doesn't hit RHP well at all posting a .182/.250/.227 line against RHP

Ibanez slash vs RHP- .182/.272/.306

Aoki, today's DH vs RHP- .237/.315/.288

No, it isn't a good option to have, but that isn't Yost's problem.. that's DM.

It's probably the right decision, given who we have. But it's awfully pathetic.

At least Hayes shows the possibility of hitting a HR. Aoki is lucky to hit it to the outfield.
