Alex Smith Appreciation Thread

The wide receivers are garbage, the line sucks and yet he still somehow manages to march this pile of crap up and down the field.

AND TO ANYONE WHO THINKS HE IS A PROBLEM - YOU'RE AND IDIOT!

I predict he will pick it up if Alex can get his td/int ratio in check. Right now it's hard to argue for a guy (unless they are a rook) if they are throwing three times as many picks as td's.

Yah I mean I guess his posting on niners planet and browns planet is through the ****ing roof

I mean being a fan of 4 NFL teams must be very difficult always having to figure out which bandwagon is the most comfortable

The qbs we have had since Trent Green

We have changed QB over and over again what we haven't done is build talent aroud the Qb.

Bowe is a capable pro bowl type player

Avery is a solid number 2 WR

Kelce looks solid

He didn't have him today, but he also has the most complete RB in the NFL.

He has enough to succeed.

Tired of the excuses. The offense has looked horrible this year and no one seems to blame the qb. The defense did their job today, kept Peyton in check, and Alex can't seem to take advantage of that. He put up 17 ****ing points today and failed twice to punch it in when they were within the 5.

We pay him all of that dough for an 0-2 start.

Don't worry though, because as John Lynch said, "all he does is win."

We're going to be 0-5 going into the bye.

At the end I actually agreed with running the clock down to nothing. Leaving forehead no time to march back down the field. I kinda disagree with the way it went down though. Should not have called time out at first and goal with 1 min left. Should have ran the clock down to about 20 seconds with first 2 downs then called time out. Leaving 2 shots at throwing into the end zone. I agree that leaving your team with only one shot at the end zone on 4th down had me scratching my head. That was on the playcalling not Alex.

The defense did their job because our offense kept forehead off of the field. The only reason the donks did not put up 30+ on us was because forehead was on the sideline staring at our offense.

You shouldn't post anymore if you think Avery is a "solid" number 2. Thick headed people are annoying. You knew the offense was HORRID before the season started and now all of a sudden "he has enough". Bunch of bullshit being spewed.

He does have enough. For a 68 million dollar quarterback he should elevate others around him.

He doesn't, and he can't.

People keep bringing this up. His 5 year avg after the extension is at 15mil a year. Not horrible considering the ridiculous amount of money starting qbs seem to be getting these days. Not saying that he is an elite talent but his contract isnt for elite money either.

ever noticed how whenever the tv broadcast shows a wide angle shot of the field, the chiefs receivers rarely have separated from coverage
