Well that has to get done.

I mean **** this ILB crew in its face. I'm serious - the guy should take the field on Sunday.

I mean, seriously. DJ at 75% is probably better than what we're putting out there now right?

Agreed.

I've read a lot of stuff about how this shouldn't happen, we want to be younger, he's got nothing left... blah, blah, blah.

Anyone saying that must not realize that this team has had its worst ILB play since Reid got here so far. Super Bowl window is open, if adding DJ helps, then why TF not.

I don't expect it though to be honest.

There's not enough Johnson jerseys laying around anymore to facilitate that to happen in that short amount of time

My only concern is they seem to love Terrance Smith. Even if just for special teams, they keep him around. I'm not sure they will cut him for DJ, although they probably should.

With how stupid this team is.....we'd cut Niemann for DJ. Can we just cut Ragland for DJ?

Wouldn’t they probably keep Smith over Niemann?

I would prefer Niemann, but my guess is Reid/Sutton prefer Smith since he’s been here longer.

We could use the leadership. Why the hell not. We stink in every phase of defense.

35-year-old Johnson started Week 1, but the Raiders quickly realized his legs were gone. He had played more than 20 snaps in a game just once since Week 2. Johnson was an All Pro-type player for the Chiefs during his prime, but twin Achilles' tears sapped his explosion as he aged. It was always a poor plan for the Raiders to feature him this season.

The Raiders talent evaluation skills haven't beem all that impressive so I would take their opinion with a grain of salt.
