I could get used to the voice. I think Lincoln's presence/persona is probably over-built up in our minds. This seemed more real.

The trailer was bad, though. Rapidly fading in/out over and over again, even for the unnecessary credits. Was very distracting.

I liked the fading in some parts, but they didn't need it for literally every scene change. Fast fade followed by some slow fade, it was a little distracting. Liked the trailer overall.

I agree about Lincoln as well. I didn't mind his voice. It wasn't dignified as mentioned in the first scene they show him speaking, but that seemed to be a scene that maybe it wasn't called for.

A number of Lincoln historians believe his voice was higher pitched and in stark contrast to his large 6'4" frame. I read about it a while back, but apparently it was still a terrific voice for cutting through large crowds and delivering amazing and poignant speeches.
