Your Grade on the CHIEFS 2017 Draft

After 3 days, the 2017 NFL Draft is history.

What is your grade and opinion of how the Chiefs did?

Predictions?

That's because it is apparently impossible for so many of you to stop looking for an agenda that isn't there. (speaking for only myself, as I won't for others)

If Mahomes starts in 2018 as expected, I am going to be a big Mahomo as well.

"aw but that impossuble cuz u liked Smiff" ... ... uhm.... NO.

Was getting time to move on. I just prefer it be Smith's choice, and he retire.

You're going to get the shit no matter what for being aggressively biased for a long period of time. Just deal with it.

I find it funny that some individuals in here is saying that KC has given up a lot to get Mahomes.

Buffalo's #10 pick value = 1,300.

KC's #27 pick value = 680.
KC's #91 pick value = 136.
KC's 2018 1st Round pick value = ?

So for now, KC only gave up 816 in terms of value. And if most people are projecting KC to go 10-6 or better, chances are that KC's going to land at pick #25 or lower.

So let's assume KC goes 11-5 and secures the 26th pick. That's valued at 700.

816 + 700 = 1,516. So maybe a loss of 216 in terms of value. It all hinges on how the Chiefs perform in 2017. All for 17 spots.

Is it really that significant?

It isn't significant if the pick pans out. This was a calculated gamble made by a GM and HC. It's what separates the winners from the losers in a high volatile market. Both know what it would do to their careers if they are wrong. They have enough experience I trust them even though Reid is a dumbass at play calling.

Actually, I think he's fairly comparable to Elway.

Have the toughest schedule to play, yet give up their 1st round pick in 2018. Who's our new NT now that Poe's gone?
