Those Patriots and their loopholes again. Robert Kraft can now say they've never had a murderer on their team.*

*As a major footnote, Aqib Talib is still running around out there.

If he did kill himself it means his family gets to keep his money. In Mass, when the conviction gets overturned due to death the victims families can't sue his estate. So maybe he did it for his kids.

Why is this person still a celeb? He's been gone from the game for 5 years and never was that good anyway (0 pro bowls in his 3 seasons)

So he killed some people, great. Not sure why the hype is here

I wonder if him and Belcher are both sitting next to each other on the bench now?

We will never know for sure.
He killed himself because he knew he was spending life in prison. It's not difficult to fathom. The high of winning the acquittal.....followed by the realization that it was meaningless....going back....forever.

Apparently not from what I've read. If the conviction is overturned he died an innocent man in the eyes of the law. Therefore there would be no legal grounds for a civil suit.

So according to Massachusetts law, that guy who got pressed to death in the Salem witch trials is officially innocent, right? Just confirming.

The whole thing is tragedy, especially for the families of the victims; FAR moreso than for Aaron Hernandez and his family, but there I was just speaking about things from teh point of view of his family.

There is a 4 year old girl who is completely blameless whose father just committed suicide and whose mother is probably completely beside herself.

Hernandez left nothing but devastation in his wake, and I care nothing for him or his death.

In a cell, where he was alone, where he attempted to barricade the door and with video cameras pointing at the hallways outside?

I'm sure it will be investigated, adn I'm sure that he just killed himself because he realized that even after winning the double murder trial, he was in prison for the rest of his life with no possibility of parole.
