Prisco - Chiefs will go 6-10

http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/story/1...as-city-chiefs

Kind of a weird article, with Clark Judge writing like a stupid homer, defending Cassel, calling McCluster a "dynamic and explosive playmaker."

Then it goes on to talk shit on Romeo Crennel at the end.

Most of it is tripe we already know, but there you have it. 6-10. Read it and weep.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

I wouldn't say the last two seasons.

I'd say the 2nd half of last year we appeared to come together (defensively.)

Perhaps that was the loss of power and firing of Haley.

Could have been the younger players (Houston) finally getting their footing.

To even be competitive vs the undefeated Packers was amazing.

To hold them in check and beat them is still hard to comprehend...

The run D has been competitive since the beginning of 2010.

Remember the 49ers game at Arrowhead?

And yet he's still here, and Wallace Gilberry isn't.

This.. just doesn't mean a lot anymore, stopping the run is important, but we paid a very high god damn price with the draft picks (and Jared Allen) for the players on our DL. Outside of one player our pass rush has been shit for a few years now.

Dorsey is good no doubt, just not 5th overall good. And TJax, what a catastrophy...

Btw, for people who don't put a premium on a pass rush in this day of the pass happy NFL, look at the NYG and what a good, consistent pass rush does for you.

Dorsey and TJ are not pass rushers. They are space eaters

So when they're on the field do we tell the other team they have to run the ball only? They were each on the field for about 200 passing plays last year.

The 3-4 is different then 4-3.

Most pressure comes from the LB's in an attempt to confuse the O-Line.

That's why Poe is so important. We've got good edge rushers, and even our secondary and DJ can rush some. If Poe can stay in 3 downs and push the pocket, it should pay off hugely as then it won't matter as much if our run D is out there and they try to pass. Because of Jackson and Dorsey he doesn't have to be a monster run stuffer either, although that would certainly be a positive.

Boom goes the dynamite. 16 more games and that fat POS Dorsey will be in the rear view. Jackson, I'll give his popsicle ass one more year.
